The [SIM]ple life.

The finals for my self initiated project in which I chose to explore theories on the Universe.
In particular I became fascinated with the idea that we are living in a computer simulated world.
Looking at how someone of higher intelligence outside of this world is essentially playing GOD, controlling every aspect of our lives and the world in which we live in, from the desktop of a computer. These photos focus on the idea of editing the world and its environment, customizing human beings, reasons for encounters of deja vu and finally what happens to us when we die, how we can be downloaded by the simulator to work on other simulated worlds.

A pretty productive evening.

So I've been catching up with my Old Tutor for most of this evening which has been really inspiring...
He has invited me back to TVU to talk to current photography students about my work and my experience so far at university!
Talking to a room full of strangers about myself and my work is a pretty terrifying thought ( I still get butterflies about tutorials) but I'm really looking forward to the experience and feel pretty flattered.

Also, thanks to a thieving manipulative ex tutor stealing my work and using it for another universities open day sideshow, my tutor is putting in a huge complaint (amongst others( about copyright infringement. Exciting huh?
I've decided to update my website a tiny weeny bit.
:)

Self Initiated Project.

Thinking of possibly using the scanner as a camera?

Garden Memories

Found alot of old photos from Bury street earlier
and began to feel very nostalgic, so thought I'd make
a little collage...
It's gotta get bad
before it gets good.
